98 F150 Brake Problem
The right front (passenger) brake caliper locked up on my 98 F150. I let the truck set too long. I replaced the caliper and rotor on the right front and did a front brake job.Bled out both front calipers.Started on the right first.I finished the job and took it around the block and the right front brake locked up again. I could smell it and noticed it was smoking like it did the firat time. I noticed that the right wheel seemed to be very tight when i tightened the wheel lugs but thought it was just from being new. I've done brakes before and never ran into this problem. Is there something i'm missing? I would appreciate any help i can get. Thanks

There are a couple things that come to mind.
First did you replace the caliper only or did you replace the caliper with new glide pins?
If you only replaced the caliper and did not insure the glide pins were clean , free and lubricated that could be one possibility.
Another could be , the brake hose to that caliper may have a restriction inside and not allow the pressure to release the caliper.
Also, check the entire brake line for that caliper, for a crimp that would cause a restriction .

Thanks hanky,i replaced all the hardware that came with the caliper including the glide pins.Used a light coating of grease on them.I kind of wondered if it might be in the brake hose.I'll check it next. Thanks again
