Anyone that has or is going too have this job on there hands, The pilot bearing that is located in the crank sometimes freezes up from the heat off a worn clutch. You can bust the roller bearings out and pack it full of grease and use a tight fit socket with grease too sometimes drive out the old bearing. Autozone and Advance have a tool made for pulling this pilot bearing, However the tool they will loan you is very cheap medal and will break as soon as you start too put the presure too it. I hope this gives someone a heads up on the job.

 

Thanks for the heads up!! I dont think I have ever got a loaner tool from AutoZone that wasnt junk from the get go or junk due to the obvious over use and or abuse by others. Nice of you to let us all know ahead of time about that paticuler type tool from there.
