driver side door lock doesnt wanna go up when button is pressed. sometimes down works. passenger switch seems fine and usually works passenger door. have had rare occasions it doesnt wanna work.

does this sound like a faulty switch or the accuator possibly causing the problem?

 

replace the actuator ford has a problem with these going out the new ones have been redesigned and work much better takes about a 1/2 hour to replace. they used a plastic gear with a metal lever and this causes the gears to been stripped right off .
