Alternator Voltage drop at 2000 RPMs

Default Alternator Voltage drop at 2000 RPMs

Can anyone tell me why an alternator will work properly below 2000 RPMs but above 2000 RPMs the voltage drops to below 12 volts and the light come on in the dash, Voltage gauge shows normal at all time.

I'm thinking a diode treo in the alt. itself.. Rebuild or new alt..
