Can anyone tell me how to get the blue clip of the brake booster

Linkage from the pedal to the booster off

On the other side you squeeze the two small blue plastic tabs in and pull the pin out. Its a pain in the *** to remove this way.
The part is cheap so you could just break the old one out so its less time consuming.
