Default Converting 3 on the tree to 3 on the floor

Hey, i just got a 1977 Ford F150 Custom (because my dad had one when he was younger) and it has 3 on the tree, im wondering how you convert it to 3 on the floor. thanks, any help would be great

remove the linkage from the trans. and the steering column cut a hole in the trans. cover big enough for the floor shifter mount the shifter to the trans. or floor board then hook up the linkage to the new shifter and the trans. and there you go you now have a 3 speed on the floor
