Default Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Does anyone know where I can find the ECT sensor on a 2007 F150 STX 4x4 4.6L engine?

I believe it's located on the right head, in the rear on the inside.

I have a 2005 Expedition 5.4 4x4 with a Coolant Temperature Sensor engine code. Reading some where that it is behind the alternator, others say it on the rear of the head. My Tech says that due to it's fault, my a/c will not work and it's plenty hot here. Can any one advise of it's location? Thanks in advance for your help.

Early 5.4 had it in the left head front along side the alt, later 5.4's have it in the right head rear under the intake manifold.. ECT-CHT...
