Howdy y’all , am interested in doing a 5.4 and trans swap into a 03 150 that has a bad 4.6 . Anyone done this ? 5.4 is from a 99 expedition and won’t be using the transfer case for truck is not 4x4 . I know I need to change computer also

 

What trans is in each vehicle?

 

Not sure , whatever came stock with the 6cyl and the 5.4

 

A transmission control module could be involved and they are different for each trans and each vehicle.
