what,s the fuel pump pressure on a 1996 ford f-150 5.0 engine ? mine reads 40 to 42 pounds and holds steady ! regulator is good too but it,s hard to start without trying 2 or 3 times, cold or hot engine ! new gas filter, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor ! thanks for your time !

 

The pressures, according to Ford, are 35--45 KOEO 30--45 KOER. Turn the key to the run position 2 or 3 times and then try to start it. If it starts the first time, the fuel pump is getting weak.
