Default GAS MILEAGE small v8 vs. big v8?

Hi guys, im looking at buying a 2000 F150, it has the 5.4 litre motor in it with a K&N cold air intake on it, does anyone know what kind of mileage these get?
Is it comparable to the small V8?
Thanks in advance!
Corey

Some of the F-150s with the 5.4 dont seem to get very good gas mileage i know some people that only get 12-14 miles per gallon but thats as long as you kep your foot off the pedal. I guess some people get better mileage than others but thats what i know.

A 5.4 in a truck compared to the 4.6 would probably be the difference between getting an average of 12-14mpg to 14-16mpg.
