Default Gasket

1985 E150, 302 4 bbl. Need the gasket between the exhaust manifold and the converter. Ford and the parts stores show it as a thin, flat, asbestos flange gasket. But, you can tell by looking that it is a donut gasket. Problem is, I don't want to tear it down until I have the gasket. The part store says they can match it, once it's out, but once it's out, I have no way to go to the parts store. Anyone have a part number or anything for that donut?

From memory and a little research, there is no gasket between the exhaust and converter. The pipe is a direct fit with 2 long studs that pull the pipe up over the raised portion. Here is a link to a picture. The F150 is similar.

Thanks, I'll get to it in a few days and see. Sure looks like there is one there.
