grinding noise

2007 f150 extended cab 4x4.grinding noise not all the time sounds like 4 wheel drive trying to engage.stops only when you slow down then makes a bang from front end.ant ideas?

return to the dealer and have it checked out befor you attempt to fixthis issue. This truck should still be under warrenty.

i realize its under warranty,was just looking to see if anybody had the same problem.noise is getting more fequent.made a appointment for thursday see what they find.

hey man sorry if i came off ignorant in my previous post. The fords are bad about dirr and transfer case issues most likely the grinding is comming from bad bearing in the front diff.
