Hello Ford Forum, Help Needed
Did you also clean the throttle body of accumulated carbon especially the bore which the AIC pintle resides in? What happens if you unplug the AIC solenoid? Is the throttle body binding in any way where the throttle shaft is not returning to a fully closed position? Did you or anyone mess with the "forbidden" screw on the throttle lever called the hard stop screw? You didn't mention much details about your truck but I would still be looking for vacuum leaks associated with the PCV and the brake booster plumbing.

Thanks Raski,I have a 03 F150 5.4l FX4,i did not touch the forbidden screw
but when I unplug Iac it shuts off, now i will tell you that just changed the intake and only used factory parts (intake & gaskets) proper torque sequence and pounds. I only checked PCV for leaks, just puzzled now , I'm missing something, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thank Gradyfx4

Connect a scan tool. Recheck for any stored codes. Then check your fuel trims. The long term fuel trim(s) is the most important. If you have a vacuum leak, the mixture will be lean because of it. The computer will attempt to add more fuel resulting in a positive reading. Anything above 5 is concerning.
