The ignition has always been extremely hard to turn. Then yesterday it broke, and we replaced it. It is still hard to turn though, so I'm sure it is something besides the ignition switch itself. Any ideas?

 

Did you replace the ignition switch or the lock cylinder?

 

oh sorry, lock cylinder, got ahead of myself

 

The rod that goes down to the switch may be binding on somthing.[hr]I would pull the ignition switch and move the lock cylinder to the start position a few times to see if it is still binding up.[hr]If not replace the switch.
