I was hoping someone could help me figure out my keyless entry problem. I have an 08 f150 crew cab 4x4. When I bought the truck I purchased an after market key fob for keyless entry which worked fine for a year before it was accidentally damaged. I purchased a new one same brand name which worked fine for a few months and then had to be reprogrammed to the truck every week until it quit working altogether. I purchased a third key fob from a different manufacturer which would not pair to the truck at all. The Vehicle security module seems to be working because the truck successfully confirmed activation of programming mode by doors locking and unlocking with no response from new key fob , any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for responding, I just tried an old after market key fob and it paired to my truck for about 10 minutes locking and unlocking all doors even panic alarm but after about ten minutes key fob does not work, new key fob has no name brand on it which tells me it’s a cheap knock off like you kinda said with non oem products which would not pair at all

Does the fob that works for some time have a good/fresh battery?

Yes of course I bought 2 brand new batteries

Doesn’t work,, meaning it won’t reprogram and work again? Even for the limited time. Or it won’t do anything
