Programming a new remote for Mom's 2006 500. Doing the turn-to-run 8 times isn't working. Not getting the locks to cycle. Is there another method? What would cause this not to work?

Does the primary/original allow for programming entry?

On 8 cycles,, Ending in Run, correct? And all available fobs button pressed within 20 seconds, right?

 

Unknown. It's a new used car with just the one plain chip key included. And correct, 8 within 10 seconds, stopping on run; no lock cycling, no saving to the fob. If the included key needed to be the master it likely isn't. Calling some locksmiths. Thanks for the reply.
