Default new to me 01 7700

I just got a new to me 01 7700 4x4. I was wordering if there is a way to tell if it has a tow package. I know the truck has a tranny cooler, but have read that it came with one baseline. It also has the under dash brake control wiring. Everything points in the rite direction, but I want to know for sure. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Default RE: new to me 01 7700

The main differences in the f-150 and the 7700 is the 7700 has a bit heavier frame, 10.25 rear axle instead of the 9.75 that the 5.4l normally comes with... it has a tranny cooler but so does every other f-150 with tow package as well as brake booster wireing...the 7700 is the GVRW of the vehicle ...which is a bit heavier than the 6600 of a normal F-150...

Its the only half ton rated to cary a snow plow from the factory...

Hope this helps
