Newbe Advice for 2011 Ford F-150
Hello. I'm a newbe here. I enjoy reading the threads and I learn a lot. This is my first thread and I need some advice.
I have a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT two wheel drive super cab with the 5.0 coyote. This is probably the best vehicle that I have owned (I'm 58). The ride and comfortable seats make this a smooth ride for a pickup. I bought this truck from Craig's List in 2016 from the original owner. It originally came from Jackson, MS and the older gentleman moved up to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to retire. He told me that he used this truck to haul around his four wheelers and go hunting deer. I got it at in 2016 @80K miles for $16,000 and it now has 126,500 on it. With the exception of the rear window leak (I can start another thread to discuss my journey on that one) it has been a very reliable vehicle. I am a maintenance freak and do everything by Ford specs. So far I have done the following:
New coolant hoses and water pump 121,754 @12/10/2024
New serpentine belts main and A/C 9/11/2024 120,400 miles
Rear end fluid 125,000
New PCV valve 117,900
Lower radiator overfill hose radiator flush @ 111,286 and front end alignment and brake fluid flush
Tranny Flush 85,000
Rear end 126,000
New ball joints at 100,000
New coil packs and sparkplugs at 100,000
My question to you'all is what am I forgetting as far as maintenance or maintenance coming up? How long should I keep it before expensive things happen?
I would love to keep this truck forever but I know eventually I might have to part ways with it.
Thanks for any advice!!!
Jim

You did not mention anything regarding brakes.
Because they have no squealers to warn of low pad life on front pads, you might want to check the pads , with the wheel off so you could see the inner pad.
Where you could get by with new pads and truing the rotors,it might save you some $$ by not having to replace rotors too..
Looks like you average 4,000 mi per year, lots of life left in your truck and YOU , lol !

Just because you have done all the routine maintenance and just because there is no check engine light and it runs great doesn't mean there is no problem at all, especially when you have no plan to sell it.
1) Get OBDLink MX+, it has OEM enhanced support on Ford so you can retrieve all Ford's specific DTC, you can also monitor your live data.
2) If DTCs are found or some live data is out of spec, you might want to get Foxwell NT510 Elite w/ Ford software.
3) If you have direct injection run a walnut blast to your intake valves, if not, just run one cycle of Berryman 2611
4) Run one cycle of Berryman 2616
5) Run one cycle of Cataclean
6) Run one cycle of Berryman 0116 every 2 fill-ups
7) Change fuel filter
8) Inspect PCV valve every 10k (it's about time) and change it regardless every 20k (it's only $3)
9) Clean your MAF/MAP with MAF cleaner, do this twice yearly
Depends on what DTCs and live data values, you might have to do more.

A lot will depend on who did the work. If Ford, they would have checked for any codes.
A tankful of premium every so often CAN and WILL do the same thing as a lot of fuel additives.
Also, with high mileage a trans flush can create some problems that a fluid and filter change does not.
