Default P0111 Intake Air QBDII Code Air Ambient Sensor

F150 2013 FX4 A/C is cool and then warm. OBDII indicates a P0111 which is indicating that the DY1160 Air Ambient Sensor needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how to do that? I've looked and cant see where there is any information. I am thinking it is somewhere by the Passenger side mirror. Price is only $14 to for the part but cant find it. Please help

Are you sure of the code provided?
That particular code , I believe, refers to "Intake Air Temp" which is the air temp going into the engine.
If you had a scan tool that you could compare the intake air temp and the coolant temp in the morning , they should read within a couple degrees of one another.
Before replacing anything, why not do a good visual check of the tubing and connections between the engine air filter and the engine. If the plug was loose or off that connected to the intake air temp sensor , that could throw that code.
Some newer vehicles have the intake air sensor combined with the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor and they are located in the tubing path between the air filter and the engine.

Welcome to the site..

PO111 DTC is for "Intake Air Temp Sensor, not Ambient..
IAT is part of the MAF assembly...
