P0113 Intake Air Temp Sensor
We checked the other day the transmission fluid level which is located under the Air Intake System. It was low and so we added some of the needed CVT transmission fluid from the dealership. In order to add it we had to take the Air Intake System off. After we had added the fluid to the right level and attached the intake air system back, my check engine light came on. I took it down to the car store to have the error code read and it is giving me the following.
P0113 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High Input
Not sure if we caused this by taking off the Air intake system or if it just is a coincidence. How serious is this error code in the first place. I've been driving the car the last two days and not sure if that is a bad thing.
I have looked all over the internet to find out where the Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located on my 2006 Ford Five Hundered SEL but with no real luck. I would greatly appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction to where the Intake Air Temperature Sensor on my car is located.
Thank you
