PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my problem, well i own a 99 F-150 4.2L V6 and i bought brand new spark plugs and wires to change. after i changed them when i try to start the car it would be tought to start it. When it does start it sounds like it has hiccups and its blowing out black smoke. When i turned it off i looked under the truck and the pike from the engine was RED. That meant that is was blowing fire.Whats the problem

(PS. I but everything on correctly doublecheckedall the cables.

How was it running 'prior' to the parts changed?

Do you have a turbo or high mileage? Did you replace the wires one-at-a-time or rip them all off and put all new on?

Hey, just to let you know that happen to me on my 98 F150.
Split Fire type plugs would not work and Bosch are crap.
Go with the same plug as OEM or as close to it.
