Default Problem with Aux Power Supply

I recently purchased a GPS unit and plugged the charger into the Aux power supply of my 2000 Ford F-150 and it blew the fuse in the charger. I changed fuses and then plugged it into the cig lighter port and had no problems. So I checked all of my fuses and found out that I had a Relay missing (which I found behind the seat in the storage bin, I do not know how it came to be there). So I purchased another relay and installed it. This time the GPS fuse was blown in both of the ports. I removed the relay and once again the cig port was fine but the Aux was not.

I have also noticed recently that the panel light for the air bag will stay on for a while then turn off for a while and sometimes just blink. I do not know what is going on with the truck and believe that it might be a short somewhere?

Any ideas as to what the problem is? I am also looking for a good repair book for my truck and would like one that shows all the wiring diagrams. Any suggestions? Thanks

Haynes manuals usually have wiring diagrams.
