I have 93 stepside 5.0L
Motor is out and on a stand
and need to know will heads from any 5.0 fit?
or what other heads fit.
Is there a book that list this type of info?
By the way my first rebuild hope i can get good advice on this site.

How much are you willing to spend on the project? are you trying to build up hp too, or just geting it running again?

Default Rebuild

I guess my real question is will heads from a Mustang fit?
Yes I'm trying to get more HP, but had to buy my little girl
a car for school so trying to do it cheap.

Heads from a Mustang will fit, but if you are using the head and all of it's components I believe the stock H.O. rockers will push the valves down further and you may need dished pistons. You can for sure set them in place and check.
