I've been a registered member for awhile, but I think this is my first post. I have a blown head gasket on my '97, 4.2L with 130,000 miles. I'm thinking of installing rebuilt cylinder heads since I have the engine torn down. It looks like I might get them for about $250 + (with new bolts, etc), possibly from Rock Auto. I'm interested in others' thoughts & experiences with different manufacturers. Are there some brands to stay away from? Other cautions I should be aware of? Thanks for any help you can give. I'll be glad to share my experiences going forward with this.
