Default rough idle issue/popping w cold start

I’ve been through all the steps I can think of. I’ve got a 2007 F150 4.6. Lately it’s been idling in between 620-680 and sometimes dies. Runs just fine on the road. I have diag multiple codes from MAP sensor to o2 sensors, to bank 1 and 2. So, I replaced the EGR valve, removed the throttle body and completely cleaned it, changed out all eight ignition coils, changed out all four o2 sensors, and it still does the same thing. In the mornings on a cold start, I get a “popping” sound from the engine bay which sounds like it’s coming from the intake manifold. I’m afraid I may have something more serious going on. The truck has over 274k miles on it. Anyone have any suggestions on what this may be?

Thanks,
Mike

There is a good chance the intake manifold is defective, either cracked or corroded and replacement is the only option.
The manifold is a type of plastic and not the best design. There are some aftermarket manufacturer units available that should cost less than one purchased from a dealer.

I was thinking that as well. Gonna be one heck of a job for me. May have to bite the bullet and take it in. Thank you for the reply.
