Default satellite radio problem

i bought myself a satelight radio ( not the ford certified one ) its a basic external unit. The thing works great and i love it but i dont like haveing all these wires runing all over the place on my truck. I want to know wear ford usually hides these wires so that i can place my antena in the same place. I am thinking of puting it close ot the back on the roof and then putting the wires into my cargo light and fishing them down throught the truck untill i get them to the dash. or did ford have some neat way of doing this?

thanks

Dan

Default RE: satellite radio problem

I installed a XM Sat. unit in my wifes car (Hyndai Elantra) and placed the magnetic antenna near the front door on the roof. I ran the wires through the AC ducts and placed the XM cradle on the vents. Everything's working great. BTW, I've got the Sirius unit that came stock with my truck and personally, I didn't think it was worth the subscription.
