Spark Plugs
I am looking at some new spark plugs for my 2000 Ford F-150 5.4 V8 and ran into a problem. I was on Advanced Auto Parts web site and there are 3 different selections for the 5.4 V8 (below). How do I know what will be the correct one for my truck (L, M or Z)? I was thinking about Bosch plugs but if you guys have a better suggestion let me know.

I prefer iriduim plugs. I run NGK iridium in my Freestar 4.2 (Same animal as the F-150). The engine codes are as follows:
L = Plain ole' GAS engine(NGK Iridium TR55IX @.054 gap)
M = Compressed Natural Gas engine(NGK TR5IX @.044 gap)
S = LIGHTNING(NGK ITR6F-13@.052 gap)
Z = Flex Fuel engine using a .054 gap (NGK Iridium TR55IX @ .054 gap)
Someadvantages of the Iridium plugs are as follows:
1. More durability and a higher melting point than platinum
2. Better center electrode Anti-Oxidation and Anti-Erosion
3. Improved ignition
4. Superior Anti-Fouling
5. Lower ignition voltage required, thus easier on your ignition system
