Can I change the timing chain without removing the cams and followers 2007 5.4 3v

 

It can be done, but you need to be very careful the shafts DO NOT move.from their original setting when disassembled and when taking up the slack on installation.

There is a recommended procedure to follow and , it must be followed exactly. There are marks on the chain and gears that must align on installation. Make sure you know where they are and where they should be,
Read up on as much as you can before attempting the job.
