I have an 04 f150 fx4 with a 5.4 engine and a 4R75W tranny. I need a new wiring harness and have found one in a junk yard but just need to know how many hours it would bill for a shop to put it in or if it's a job I could do on my own. I'm relatively vehicle savy but don't really like messing with the expensive parts of the truck lol.

What’s the issue with the original harness?

 

the wiring for solenoid A was burnt through at the front of the harness. VIP said to replace harness and replace PCM...
