I have a 1991 ford F150 5.8l ext. cab short box two wheel drive with 263,000km. Now here is my question i might be buying a truck 2003 ford f150 xtr ext.cab short box. 4x4 out the the province its a six hour drive one way. and i will ne doing this in one day.Now im not sure if i want to drive the 2003 home six hours with out giving it a good cheaking over real good on a hoist. What do you guys think will my 91 pull that truck home on a trailer six hours with out it blowing up.I do regular maintines and the tranny was serviced a year ago.

 

Talk to the guy...see if you can somewhere in between so hes forced to drive it there. Also, ask him if its safe to drive. If he says yes, ask to take it for a test drive.

 

Your truck will tow it easily, butI would keep it out of OD. So don'tplan on good gas milage.
