Default '01 bed on '90 f-250?

i'm new to the whole ford pickup thing...(been driving a '84 fullsize bronco) i just got a 90 f-250 with completely rusted out bed. (seller forgot to mention that) anyhow, i can pickup an '01 250 bed for cheap cheap.... how doable is such a swap? seems rather simple, but maybe i'm overlooking something critical.

hi, the frame rails are completely differant on the 90 and 01 trucks but with a good welder and some modifications-it is doable- i know several people who have done it, some failed some worked, but truck looks like a halfbreed horroe story-lol
