Default 03 f250 trailer tail lights

I have an 03 f 250 5.4L gas for a work truck and the trailer tail lights won't shut off unless the fuse is pulled out. I checked the truck plug with out a trailer pluged in to it and it alaways has 12v to the trailer tail lights. I think it is a stuck relay, but I can't find it. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Thumbs up

Welcome to the site,,

The trailer tow park lamp relay is integrated into the central juntion box unit.. Non replaceable.. You might ty a sharp thump to the panel.. We just covered this a few weeks ago. The options would be an interrupt switch, wiring in a 'stand alone' relay for the park lamp function, or a replacement panel.

Where exactly is the relay, behind the fuse panel? Thanks

I think:::The panel should be located on/ near the driver side firewall. Small black box the size of a deck of cards but deeper.

dwitt, I hope you got the issue resolved. In most cases the problem is in wire kits and the fuses. To make sure you can tow safely replace them with OEM-style universal trailer tail lights and wiring.
