Default 04 f250 domelight/ajar door problem, always on

i have an 04 f250 extended cab. My ajar light and dome light are always on. I have read the many success stories from poeple by shooting wd40 in the door latch area and has fixed the problem. I have also done this and DID NOT have any success. I have done it numerous times and have let it soak. Please help? I can even figure out which door it can be.

thanks

The 'battery saver' relay should eventually 'disconnect' canceling the dome lamp circuit if they stay continually on.. With the domelamp then out from the battery saverdisconnect,, open one door at a time.. The door/s with agood operating ajar/lamp switch will turn the interior lamp back on.. You'll have to wait for the battery saver to disconnect the circuit for 'each' door test, but when you open the door with the bad switch (from the battery saver disconnect) it won't turn the dome lamp on.. If you've sprayed a good silicone lubeat the 'lower' postion/portion of the door latch and had no improvement, then the next step would be to remove the door trim panel and unplug the dome/ajar switch and it should then cancel the dome lamp function for that door.. If disconnecting the dome/ajar switch doesn't cancel the dome lamp, then the chances are it's not the switch..
