Default another door ajar problem

DOOR AJAR LIGHT WON'T GO OUT. THE PROBLEM IS NOT WITH THE DOOR SWITCHES AS THEY HAVE ALL BEEN REPLACED AND CHECKED WITH MULTIMETER. HERE ARE OTHER PROBLEMS I AM HAVING THAT MAY BE RELATED. DOME LIGHT WILL NOT COME ON UNLESS MANUALLY TURNED ON, RADIO DOES NOT SHUT OFF WITH IGNITION OFF AND DOOR OPEN AND LASTLY REMOTE DOOR LOCKS WORK INTERMITANTLY EVEN WITH FREASH BATTERIES. AGAIN, THE SWITCHES WERE FIRST SOAKED WITH W-D40 AND DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. I THEN PURCHASE 4 NEW ONES AND INSTALLED THEM AND PROBLEM WAS NOT FIXED. I THEN BROUGHT IT DOWN TO FORD AND THEY COULD NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. ALL FUSES WERE REPLACED. IS THERE SAMOTHING ELSE THAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM? IS THERE A RECIEVER FOR THE REMOTE DOOR LOCKS THAT MAY BE CONTRIBUTING TO THE PROBLEM? IS THE A CONTROL BOX OR MODULE THAT IS THE BRAIN FOR ALL THESE FUNCTIONS[:@]?

The door ajar switches are 'imputs' to the VSM (Vehicle Security Module).. The VSM houses the Door Lock relay, Driver Door Unlock relay, Park Lamp relay, Headlamp relay.. The door ajar switches are used as grounding imputs/function for the VSM's processor, and networked with the Instrument Cluster Micro Processor 'interior lamps relay' for power out to the courtesy lamps.. An 'integrated' relay for courtesy lamps operation and is not serviceable...Being that you've replaced the fuses, we can eliminate a power distribution problem to the VSM (?).. Was this an intermittent when it was looked at by Ford, or they couldn't find the problem?

When you say switches do you mean Door latch assemblys?

When I say intermittent I mean they rarely open the doors, at best the drivers door will open some of the time, and in the morning is best to get them all to open. So yes the problem was there when they looked at it, but I think they were dead set on blaming the door ajar swithches until they were replaced leaving them scatching their heads. Sometimes when I get stubborn I can click the clicker really fast for about 20 or 30 clicks and the drivers door will unlock. To give you more info, I thought depite the addition of a new key fob battery, that it could be the key fob itself being dirty, so I tried the second unused fob I have had for years and replaced the battery in it and still no difference.

I've had to replace the whole latch assembly before to get rid of this problem. If your power lock assembly is in latch instead of seperate acuator this is what I would start with.
