Will the tailgate and rear bumper from an 08 fit the 07 with bracket modifications?

 

I seeNO one has the answer including Ford so, I purchased an 08 tailgate and 08 rear bumper to install on an 07 F350 andwill post my results after the threat of "IKE" the hurricane passes. Watch for updates next weekend if possible. I will do give what Ford can't/will not.

 

The parts will interchange....

 

The left/drivers side tailgate pivot is slotted for 08 over the rounded version for 07 and earlier years.. 08 has the gate lift spring on the left pivot..
