Default 1961 223 Water Pump

I have a 1961 straight 6 (223) block going in my 1963 F250. It was a core motor from wreckingyard with what I believe to be an older water pump on it (5750810).The pump is larger and covers a small hole on the block. I ordered a new water pump that happens to be much smaller and does not cover that small hole (aprox 1/8 in). I noticed my original block has the same hole but had a pin or a plug in it. The 1963 configuration has to take the smaller water pump to keep the fan in needed position. Anyone have this issue before? And where would I find the correct pin or plug for the this hole?

It turns out that the 61 replacement block with water pumpattached was from a 1961 Fairlane. Problemstill there, how do I plug the hole approx. 1/8 in.I'm thinking maybe a piece of brazen rod

Thumbs up

From any 'Reply to Thread' (Once a 'New Reply' selection is made) scroll down you'll see 'Aditional Options' and within selection buttons you'll see ' Manage Attachments'. That will open the file selection page. If your images are on your current device, you should be able to select the image/s. Quite a few sites use this same selection format.

Or, if you use an offsite photo storage/manager or vendor you can just copy/paste the image code or direct code into the reply box..
