Default 1981 F250 NP 435 Backup Light Switch

Hi All, I just bought a 1981 F250 - fixing a couple issues - it has no backup lights.

Per the door sticker trans code A for 1981 it should be a NP 435 4 speed but I haven't been able to verify that yet.

I have been unable to locate a backup light switch on the tranny, or wires that would go to it.

Anyone know if some of these had no backup light or if they all did where I should look on the tranny and what the electrical connector would look like?

I'm assuming a one pin switch like the 4wd indicator switch on the transfer case but don't know what to look for on this old truck.

Found it, then found the missing wire - backup lights now work!

Many thanks - wouldn't have found it without knowing where to feel for it.
