I have a 93 F-250 with a 12 valve Cummins in it. It currently has a zf-5 in it but I think the transmission is on its last leg. I was wondering if anyone know how hard it would be to drop a nv5600 in place of the zf-5? Would I have to modify the tunnel? I would gain 1 inch forward due to no longer having the adapter plate. I understand this isn’t the normal but was wondering if someone has been down this road before and could share some tips before I dive in. Thanks.
