1) The rebound/assist clutch spring broke. Not available at any dealer nationwide, nor any online Autoparts company.
2) Does the entire clutch/brake pedal assembly need to be removed in order to replace the nylon bushings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

You might try calling a few salvage yards. There are many vehicles there that are in better condition than a lot on the road.. If there is an opportunity for you to remove what you want, you can see what is required to do the job.
