Default 1996 F-250 Rear Brakes

I’m working on the rear brakes on my 1996 Ford F250 extra cab it has a 460 gasoline engine. 8800LB C5.

I’m trying to figure out if I need to remove my axle to get drum off. Before I did it with a hammer and take the torch out I thought I probably ought to ask some people that actually know. I’ll post a couple of photos of what I’m dealing with and I hope that somebody can shed some light on the situation. Thanks and advance!

Sometimes hitting the side contacting the axle flange and lots of penetrating oil will usually break it loose.

Will do I’ll give it a try and see if I can’t get it freed up. Do I need to pull the axle?

Most of the time the drum will clear the axle, but from your pix, hard to tell.

This worked well on my 1997 OBS. No need to pull the axle.
