I have a '99 Super duty that seems to hesitate when driving and having the accelerator steady. I have already changed the fuel filter. Any ideas? I was told it may be a sensor? It seems to be fine when the cruise is being used.

 

I have heard rumors that the gas pedal could have a dead spot in it sort of speak since it is similar to a varible resistor or potentiometer which varis the eelectrical current supplied to the computer.
