How do you test a fan control switch on the dash or a blower motor resitor to see which one is bad?

I'm guessing you solved the problem by now but if not.
Turn on the engine and warm up.
Does the fan speed control go through all the speed settings? Fan resisters are ok.
Does the hot/cold control make the blower air hot or cold after a few seconds of turning the ****. Then the mixer door control module is ok.
Do you get air going through the correct vent outlet as you switch from MAX AC, AC, panel, OFF, Floor/panel, defroset1, defrost2. If you get the correct response then there is no problem.
Do you keep blowing fuse 24 which cuts cruise control, overdrive, and a couple other systems associated with fuse 24? Can't help you, still trying to figure it out myself.
Good luck.
