How many miles on the truck/trans?
If you had no prior indication of a trans issue, could be a misfire/s are mimicking a slip. Generally a trans slip will generate a DTC. As would misfires. Was the battery disconnected prior to the work done?

2000 f-250
No the battery was not disconnected, it had no signs of transmission issues. And I'm at 194,000 miles
Also my check engine light just turned on this morning. I'll be checking it later today since I'm at work.
