i have an 01 superduty with 6 speed manual tranny. driving down road the other day i was slowing down for corner in town and couldn't pull tranny out of gear. when i did finally get it out of gear it is extremely hard to put in 1st and 2nd gear, but 3rd 4th 5th and reverse are no problem. could this be syncro problem and if so how expensive is repair. thanks in advance

 

Syncros don't usually cause problems getting out of gear. I believe the best thing you might do is to open the top and you might find a problem with the shift fork or shift rail and interlock *****. Cost at this point is not possible because we don't know exactly what needs to be replaced , if anything.
