2002 ford F250 is stuck in 4 wheel low

I have a 2002 F25 that i switched into 4 low yesterday and can not get it out is there any suggestion on how to get it out.

From:

a friend of myne had this prob in a 06 f350. i believe he shut the truck off kept truck in neutral then turned the key on and switch from 4l to 4h to 2wd
