Default 2003 f250 7.3

my abs light is on so today i removed the sensor from the rear end and cleaned it & reinstalled, light was still on so i removed neg. batt. cables from both batterys to reset computer.light still on and sounds like starter grinding a little now maybe turning a little faster after cleaning batt clamps. scratching my head now, anybody

Welcome to the site..

The sensor has a fairly high failure rate.. Cleaning them usually doesn't get a good result. With out the DTC, hard to no the exact reason for the lamp. Also make sure the brake fluid reservoir is at the correct level.

i assume that a DTC is a code reader. whats a good reader for my truck? i have learned not to buy electrical componets from places like autozone & advance
