Default RE: 2003 F250 rear View Mirror Problem

The complete mirror assy? or mirror glass for repair?

If the assy.. Just open the door, look just ahead of where the mirror is in the jamb.. You'll see 3 rubber plugs.. Remove the upper/lower to access the 2 outter bolts.. Pull/unsnap the black dress cover and you see the other 2 nuts through the access holes behind the insulation tape..

For the mirror glass (I'm guessing TT mirrors) you'll need a door trim panel tool, or something fabricated to remove/pop loosethe jack pin ***** from their sockets in the head assy.. Repair kit will have eveything you need to complete the install..

If its the mirror glass, I'll post some pics to help with the job if needed...

Smile removeing rear view mirror ford 250

ford has a special tool to remove it. i got mine off with a .028 feeler guage. you have to file about a 1/8" off the side of it because its to wide. then just slide it in the hole in the bottom of the mirror.wiggle the mirror side to side wile pushing up on it. should pop right off.you can get the feeler guage at sears or any auto parts store for about 6 bucks.
