On my 2004 f-250 turbo diesel over the last 6 months or so,my truck has not wanted to start when its cold..the injectors are not cycling as they used to,im not getting any obd codes either..my batteries are the original(i realize they are probably shot)..could the batteries be the cause of this??

 

You might want to check the glow plug relay at the back top of the engine.

 

Looks like we have the same year truck and it's my first. Yes it could very well be the batteries when you check them disconnect the two if one is bad it may register 12v but the bad one is drawing amp's of the good one when you try to start it
