I have an 06 f350 6.0. I started it up drove it down the street , then shut it off. Ii then started it up drove it home shut it off pulled the key and my door buzzer is staying on. I have no lights on or anything that could keep the buzzer on can anyone help please

 

Unplug it. It should be easily accesible under the drivers dash. If you dont want to do that you can try wiggleing the ignition and see if it will turn off. You can also just replace the whole ignition, but that may just be a waist or it may fix it. Good luck!

 

i found that the ignition is the root of the problem. will i need to replace the whole ignition or is their just a sensor or part that can be replaced in the cylinder. i have an ford warraty on it for 75k but i do not know if this covers it
