COME ON SOME ONE HAS GOT TO KNOW I MEAN I THINK THAT THEY DO BUT I DONT WANNA TAKE MY OLD HOOD OFF AND THEN HAVE IT NOT FIT ID RATHER SELL IT WITH THE TRUCK PLEASE SOMEONE HAS GOT TO KNOW IF IT FITS

The first thing I would do is measure the length and width of both hoods. If they are different then they probably are not interchangeable.
We sell custom hoods and when looking at our catalog, I notice that hoods for for 97-02 and 04-05 reference different part numbers. So, I would say they cannot be swapped or maybe the bolt holes for the hinges are not aligned the same.
